FAIRVIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT - POSITION DESCRIPTION
Part Time Position
TITLE: Lunchroom Monitor (Two hours daily; Monday – Friday varies per building)
LOCATION: Fairview High School, Fairview Middle School, and Fairview Elementary School
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School diploma and some college experience preferred
2. Experience supervising high school students in a public or private school
3. Must possess all current state mandatory clearances
4. Must be physically able to perform all duties
REPORTS TO: Fairview High School Principal/Assistant Principal
SALARY: $15.59/hour
EVALUATION: Annually

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise students during their daily lunch periods.
- Monitor student passes that allow students to enter or leave the cafeteria area.
- Supervise the serving lines to avoid overcrowding and theft.
- Work closely with the high school staff on duty and the administration to monitor cafeteria student behavior.
- Circulate through the entire lunchroom during lunch to insure appropriate behavior/safety of all students.
- Work cooperatively with a wide variety of people.
- Other duties as assigned by the building Principal
